Blushing Peeptini 

from Sandhill Crane Vineyards

  •  1 cup Blushing Crane
  • 1/4 cup Raspberry dessert wine
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • 1-2 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Mix together and chill thoroughly.

Serve in a martini glass with the following garnishes: lemon peel twist, fresh raspberry and marshmallow Peep.

Serves 4.

 

Glühwein

Recipe from the Dexter Cider Mill

  •  2 cups red wine*
  • 1 cup fresh apple cider
  • 2-3 Tbsp sugar (optional*)
  • 1-2 tsp mulling spices
  • 1 lemon, sliced thin

Mix together all ingredients. Heat, but do not boil. Strain out the spices and serve in a small mug. Guaranteed to warm you on a cold Christmas night!

*If you use a sweet red (like Staccato) or if you prefer your beverages less sweet you do not need to add the sugar

 

Zomgria (Sangria made with Night of the Living Red)

  •  1 bottle Night of the Living Red wine
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • a few ice cubes
  • 2/3 cup chilled club soda
  • 1/4 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 lemon, thinly sliced

Thoroughly chill all ingredients. Pour the wine into a punch bowl. Stir orange and lemon juice with the sugar until sugar has dissolved. Then add to bowl and stir to blend. Add ice cubes and soda and garnish with fruit slices. Serve in 4-ounce punch glasses or wineglasses.

Makes about 8-10 servings.

 

Raspberry Sangria

Refreshing and sweet-tart, this punch is perfect anytime.

  •  1 bottle Raspberry Rosé, chilled
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Raspberry wine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups soda water
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced thin

Mix together the wine, lemon juice, and sugar. Pour in the soda water and mix lightly. Stir in lemon slices.

Serve chilled or over ice.

Yield: 8-10 glasses

 

Staccato Sangria

  •  1 bottle Staccato wine
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. superfine sugar
  • a few ice cubes
  • 2/3 cup chilled club soda
  • 1/4 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 lemon, thinly sliced
