We are extremely honored to be partnering with the Tasters Guild/Kalamazoo Chapter and Webster's Prime Restaurant at the Radisson for a very special wine tasting dinner.

Tasters Guild International is a nationwide society of wine and food enthusiasts. Webster's, a AAA Four Diamond Restaurant, is located inside the Radisson Hotel, Kalamazoo. The event will be held in their private dining room.

Menu and wines:
Appetizer - Cheese Platter of Brie, Grassfields Lamont Cheddar, and Cotswold Cheese

Book Signing: The History of Michigan Wine
Saturday, July 24, 1:00-3:00 pm
Join local authors Lorri Hathaway and Sharon Kegerreis on Saturday, July 24 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm to talk about their recent project chronicling Michigan's rich wine history. Their intensive research has produced a wonderful book, "The History of Michigan Wines."

Sharon and Lorri will be at Sandhill Crane Vineyards to talk about the project and the new book, and sign copies of the book. They'll help you discover Michigan's vibrant wine history!

A Taste of Honey: Mead & Jazz Festival
Sunday, July 25, Noon to 7 pm
Join us for our 2nd mead and jazz festival, "A Taste of Honey" on Sunday, July 25 from noon to 7:00 pm.

The festival will feature live jazz by local musicians;
Noon-2:00 - McDermott Jazz Company
2:15-4:15 - Voris, Harris, and Stephenson Jazz Ensemble
4:30-6:30 - The Doug Horn Phil Lesky Duo

We'll release two meads during the festival -- the new vintage of our semi-sweet Vignoles Pyment and a new blueberry mead that will benefit the Dahlem Conservancy's Eastern Bluebird habitat restoration program.

"Wine & Wool"
Saturday, July 31, 11 am to 6 pm

Sandhill Crane Vineyards is teaming up with local yarn shop, The Dropped Stitch to offer a day filled with yarn, fiber, and free wine tasting!

Events for the day include workshops, yarn "tasting," local vendors, and of course, wine tasting. Bring your spinning wheel, knitting, or crocheting and spend the afternoon with us!

Knit a wine cozy! Classes start at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Kit price: TBA

AUGUST
Wine Days of Summer
Saturday, August 7 & Sunday, August 8

Experience "The Wine Days of Summer,"  a self-driving tour of the wineries of the Pioneer Wine Trail. At each stop you'll be served a wonderful picnic-related food prepared by a local chef or restaurant. Each winery will provide a generous pouring of one of their wines that pairs well with the food. You'll also receive a recipe card to take home with you.

The hours of the event are Saturday 11-6 and Sunday 12-6.

Raspberry Festival

Our biggest event of the year!

Highlights of the festival include:
• live music on the front porch: BluHott Jam 11-2, McDermott Jazz Company 2-5
• lunch foods made with raspberries (minimal charge)

Join us to celebrate our award-winning raspberry wines, including the release of the new vintage of Rhapsody in Red and Crimson & Clover.

We’ll have live music on the front porch all day! Bring your lawn chair (or use one of ours!) and relax on our grounds with a glass of wine and live music. Wine tasting is always free and or you may wish to purchase wine by the glass or bottle.
