Dexter Cider Mill Tasting Room (seasonal)

The Dexter Cider Mill is now closed until August 2013!

Every year as the summer winds down and the early apples are ripe, we open our tasting room inside the Dexter Cider Mill. The cider mill, located at 3685 Central Street, is the oldest continuously operating cider mill in Michigan.

Our cozy tasting room features the same tasting list as the winery in Jackson – you are welcome to visit, taste, and purchase any of our wines.

The cider mill is an annual draw for SE Michigan residents and visitors. They make the cider the same way they’ve always done, with an antique oak press using 3-5 varieties of locally grown apples. The result is a rich, complex, and delicious apple cider. Also for sale are freshly made treats such as donuts, apple bread, and caramel apples.
