Painting and art has always been a part of my life, as I grew up viewing the world through an artist`s eyes. I love color and see it in many things. Painting the landscape in all medias, for nature and reflections in the water inspire me. There is a certain amount of serenity when I paint outdoors. Sometimes when I am painting, I have a visitor. The Great Blue Heron often is present, so I like to include him in my pictures.

I create scenes using loose brush strokes in my monotypes or showing texture with my pastels.
